ReptiTherm UTH for 50-60 gal. Terrariums

The ReptiTherm Under Tank Heaters are an incredibly cost - effective choice! These heaters, with power ranging from 4 to 24 watts, cost next to nothing to run. They're the perfect heat source for your reptiles. The heater is black and measures 8X18'. It's ideal for 50 - 60 gallon tanks. Simply peel the adhesive paper off the back of the heater and stick it to the underside of your terrarium's bottom. We suggest placing it on either the right or left side and gently rubbing it to ensure good contact with the bottom glass. This creates a natural temperature difference in the terrarium, giving your reptiles a more comfortable environment. Remember, it's not for use with plastic or wood terrariums.

Using your ReptiTherm Under Tank Heater is easy. First, take the heater out of the package. You'll notice there's adhesive paper on the back. Peel that off. Then, find the bottom of your 50 - 60 gallon terrarium. Stick the heater on the underside of the bottom glass. It's best to put it on either the right or left side. After sticking it on, gently rub the heater so it firmly touches the glass. This helps create a warmer side in the terrarium for your reptile. As for maintenance, keep it clean by gently wiping it with a dry cloth. Make sure not to use it with plastic or wood terrariums, as it may not work well or could cause problems.
