Setting up your chinchilla's new home is easy. First, place the cage in a quiet area away from direct sunlight. Fill the food dish with the Fiesta Max chinchilla food, and make sure to change it regularly to keep it fresh. Attach the critter canteen water bottle to the cage and fill it with clean water. Check the water level daily. Line the bottom of the cage with the Clean & Cozy bedding, and replace it every week to keep the cage clean and odor - free. Avoid using harsh chemicals when cleaning the cage. Instead, use mild soap and water. Also, make sure the cage is big enough for your chinchilla to move around comfortably.
